Feed the Hungry

LeSea Global Feed the Hungry® was established in 1987 as a division of LeSea, Inc., an international ministry founded by the late Dr. Lester Sumrall. Since its inception, Feed the Hungry has brought much-needed food to more than 54 countries. Working with government agencies in these countries to secure authorization for relief efforts, Feed the Hungry is able to distribute food directly to those in need.

Massive relief effort are carried out primarily through the organization's two ships, the M.V. Evangeline and the M.V. Louisa, which travel to the four corners of the globe. It is the goal of Feed the Hungry to minister to both body and soul by showing the love of Jesus Christ in bringing relief those around the world suffering from hunger.

LCC has supported Feed the Hungry since 1990. In 2000, Pastor Harland traveled to Mozambique to be a part of Feed the Hungry's relief work in areas stricken by massive flooding. Feed the Hungry was able to supply 5 million pounds of food and relief supplies to the people of mozambique.
